Handwriting recognition with optional Vision

Enable the configured Vision option

Select mixed printed and handwritten extraction and allow AI processing. This feature needs the deployment’s configured image-capable provider; standard printed OCR remains available without it.

Make the image easier to read

Use sharp, evenly lit images and visible page boundaries. Cursive, crossed-out text and faint writing need careful comparison. Illegible passages should remain marked rather than guessed.

Know the processing budget

Vision is limited to the configured number of pages per extraction. Inspect page routing warnings for local-only fallbacks or provider failures, and review every final result.

Privacy & document processing

iocrify stores account details, saved documents, extracted text, conversion results and review history to provide your selected tools. Your contact number is optional.

Camera frames are processed in your browser. A captured image is uploaded only when you choose Capture reviewed scan. Standard extraction uses server-side local engines. AI handwriting, semantic extraction and translation send selected images or text to the configured AI provider only when you enable that processing. Selecting an external conversion engine sends the chosen file to that configured service.

Cloudflare hosts the application; Supabase provides authentication, database and private storage in the hosted configuration. Your browser also requests Google Fonts. Authentication email delivery uses the configured email service.

Saved content has no automatic deletion schedule in the application. Use the Delete actions to remove saved documents and conversions. A successful document deletion removes its active original file, extracted document and linked review records. Provider backup snapshots are outside that deletion operation; the deployment’s backup retention and purge schedule have not been verified.
